Harvesting & Destemming Stages

Our beginner classes welcome riders taking their first steps into Derby-style courses. From ground poles to simplified X-Rail and Hunt & Go Derby classes. Riders gain confidence, practice rhythm, and enjoy a supportive environment where the focus is on learning and fun. Open to all ages, these classes are designed to nurture growth while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.

Fermentation & Maceration Stages

As riders progress, the courses increase in complexity, introducing crossrails and 2’ schooling and formal Derby rounds. These stages encourage skill refinement, balance, and rhythm. Two-round competitions, combining classic hunter sections with handy hunter sections, allow riders to practice strategy, timing, and precision, while keeping a friendly, inclusive vibe.

Clarification & Bottling Stages

Advanced classes include the 2’6” and 3’ Formal Derby rounds, Low and High Open Hunter Flats, and Equitation classes that focus on polish and style. These stages celebrate riders’ growth with more challenging courses, multiple rounds, and opportunities to showcase their technique and poise. Special classes, including Hunt Teams, add a fun, social element that emphasizes camaraderie and creativity.

Jumper Classes

The Prizelist also includes timed Jumper Derbies from .65m to .90m. Riders may choose to warm up with 2 optional schooling fences before tackling a formal round of 12 fences, judged on faults and time.
